The Endlessly Customizable 2022 MAZDA3

Mazda3 Exterior
Whether you’re looking for a sophisticated sedan or a capable hatchback, the 2022 Mazda3 might just be your perfect fit. With impressive fuel economy and loads of storage space and safety features, this model is quickly becoming a Baglier Mazda top pick.

What’s New for the 2022 MAZDA3
You can expect one big upgrade for this year’s Mazda3 model: the addition of a Carbon Edition package. This appearance package is available for both sedan and hatchback body styles, and features Polymetal Gray paint, red leather seating, and black exterior details. It pairs with the Mazda3 Preferred trim but adds on a 12-speaker Bose® sound system.

2022 MAZDA3 Performance
Three powertrain tiers are offered in conjunction with the 2022 Mazda3, ranging from errand-able to racetrack-ready. All three engines are four-cylinder, with the 2.0-liter base level engine making 155 horsepower. The more powerful 2.5-liter option produces 186 horsepower, but the real power can be found in the 250-horsepower Skyactiv®-G 2.5 Turbo engine.

Front-wheel drive is standard across the board, but i-Activ AWD® is available for the latter two powertrains. If you’re a fan of manual transmission, opt for FWD — the six-speed stick shift doesn’t pair with all-wheel drive.

Like many Mazda cars, the Mazda3 gets awesome gas mileage. A Mazda3 sedan equipped with the base powertrain is the most fuel-efficient option, earning an EPA-estimated 28 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. But even the combination with the “worst” fuel economy — the Mazda3 hatchback with the turbocharged engine — gets a competitive 23 city MPG and 31 highway MPG.

The suspension of the Mazda3 is made to move with you. It considers the way you’ll naturally move while driving and balances the car’s movements in turn.
2022 MAZDA3 Interior and Tech
The cabin of the Mazda3 is designed with your comfort in mind. Even without top-trim features like heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a driver’s seat that remembers your preferences, you’re ensured a smooth and comfy ride.

Standard and available tech make the Mazda3 stand out. The standard 8.8-inch infotainment display can be controlled easily with a console-mounted knob, and the available head-up display shows you vital driving information while keeping your eyes on the road. To make your Mazda3 jam-session-ready, opt for the available Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ integration, SiriusXM satellite radio, and 12-speaker Bose® audio system.

Using the MyMazda App with Mazda Connected Services, you can check car health reports, remotely start the engine, access emergency roadside and 911 services, and more. Mazda Connected Services is complimentary for three years with your Mazda purchase.
2022 MAZDA3 Safety Features
When it comes to safety, the Mazda3 doesn’t mess around. Here are just some of the i-Activsense® safety features you’ll enjoy:
  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Smart Brake Support
  • Lane Departure Warning System
  • Lane-Keep Assist
  • Driver Attention Alert
  • Traffic Jam Assist
